Legacy Wealth Founders (LWF) provides this summary to help you understand the relationship and services we offer to clients, the fees and costs involved, potential conflicts of interest, and the resources available to you.
What investment and advisory services can we offer you?
We offer integrated financial planning advice, indexed insurance products (IUL, annuities), real estate strategies, and financing solutions. We operate as independent agents of multiple insurance carriers and licensors. LWF advisors do not exercise discretion over your account — any application or transaction requires your express approval.
Question you may ask us: "Given my financial situation, should I choose an advisory service? Why or why not?"
What fees will I pay?
In general, we do not charge fees directly to the client for consultations, planning, or educational advice. LWF compensation primarily comes from commissions paid by insurance carriers or financial institutions when we place a product you have chosen.
These commissions are built into the product's structure (they are not an additional charge to the client on the policy value), but they affect LWF's overall economic profitability on your case. Before you subscribe to any product, we will provide the official illustration with all costs, surrender charges, caps, and other economic conditions of the product.
Question: "Help me understand how these fees and costs might affect my investments. If I were to put $10,000 into a product, how much would go to the product and how much to fees?"
What are the legal obligations of the advisor to me?
When acting as insurance agents, we are obligated to act in your best interest when recommending products, under applicable state rules and the suitability or best-interest standards when they apply. The way we earn money creates some conflicts with your interests — you should understand them and ask about them.
How do LWF professionals make money?
Our advisors receive a portion of the commissions that carriers and entities pay to LWF for placed products. Some products pay higher commissions than others, which can create a conflict of interest when recommending one product over another. We will inform you about the commission structure before any application and answer questions about alternatives.
Question: "How might your conflicts of interest affect me? How will you address them?"
Do you or your professionals have any disciplinary history?
To check the history of any advisor or agent, you can visit investor.gov/CRS — a free tool to research firms and financial professionals. You may also request additional information directly from us.
Question: "As a financial professional, do you have any disciplinary history? For what type of conduct?"
